Protective Behaviours and Body Safety Workshop

Help children develop life skills of empowerment, self-awareness, help seeking and more with Kayelene from eSafeKids

More than just a ‘program’, Protective behaviours are everyday conversations, skills and strategies that help children understand their right to be safe and to feel safe.

This session will be all about building your team’s capacity so you can better support educators, children and families. Together, we will explore:
✔️ Practical strategies to embed protective behaviours in everyday practice
✔️ Reflecting on our body’s early warning signs to help us notice what it feels like when “something could happen, but we don’t know when”
✔️ How to listen to our bodies, respond and model these skills for children

Kayelene will also share books and resources to spark these conversations, which you can find on her eSafeKids website. 📚

  • Being Safe & Feeling Safe
